Mission Impossible? God, I hope not.

A few months ago I aimed to finish the first full draft of Finding Elyssia mid-July, but being the idiot that I am, I kept taking long breaks a long the way and jumping ahead to the editing part. On Friday I decided that I have until Monday to write around 20k words.

Yes.

Monday.

I'm super serious about it, too.

So here's the plan:
I have 10k left and two days remaining for this mission. I will then spend the next two weeks editing the second half of my book (the first half is briefly done) before sending it off to my handful of beta readers. For two weeks I will do nothing but READ and research for a new script I'm writing. Once I get my feedback, hopefully by mid-September, I'll spend a week vigorously editing with the new critiques from my betas. By the end of September, I'll have a badass manuscript, which I will then send off to a professional editor.

Phew. That was a mouthful.

(That's what she said. Sorry. Not sorry.)
